We had lunch began with a glass of milk tea (which tasted like Indonesian milk tea that I’d tried before). Our appetizer was the traditional fresh spring rolls with spicy fish sauce (typically found on any Vietnamese menu in a foreign country).
We ordered one pho and one chicken curry.
Even though it was not exactly the taste of pho you found in Vietnam, I
have to say that I was impressed with this dish. The broth tasted
fresh, and the beef was actually raw (unlike other Vietnamese
restaurants here). I’m gonna give it 3.5 stars out of 5 if I have a
rating board with me. (hah)
The curry rice was below my expectation. I thought it would be
spicier and thicker like Thai curry, but it turned out to be a bit
diluted to me. My boyfriend thought it tasted great, though. Maybe it
doesn’t suit people who love salty flavor just like me.
